Idris Dahod, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician and is also fellowship trained in pediatric gastroenterology with decades of experience delivering comprehensive care to children and families. Known for his clinical expertise and compassionate approach, Dr. Idris Dahod has dedicated his career to advancing pediatric health through patient care, education, and community outreach.
From 2002 to 2014, Idris Dahod, MD, served as president and attending physician at Central Mass Pediatric GI and Nutrition. There, he directed a high-volume pediatric gastroenterology practice. He performed hundreds of endoscopic procedures annually and managed patients with conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease, eosinophilic esophagitis, celiac disease, and gastroesophageal reflux. In addition to overseeing patient care, he supervised clinical staff, coordinated with a large network of referring physicians, and guided treatment plans that included advanced therapies and post-transplant care.
Following his time in private practice, Dr. Dahod expanded his impact by working as a physician liaison and sales professional at eClinicalWorks.
